Jan Mühlfeit is a Senior Executive with broad global experience, deep knowledge and specialises in leadership coaching.
In the coaching and mentoring field, Jan works closely with INSEAD, Gallup and SeedCamp. He is a Senior Strategic Advisor for Atlantic Bridge Venture and has been serving on different advisory boards of several European governments in the field of ICT, national competitiveness and education for a number of years.
Jan has expansive global business experience, in-depth knowledge and sought after skills in leadership. He spent almost 22 years in Microsoft. In his last job (2007-2014) he served as Chairman of Europe, and was responsible for representing the Microsoft Corporation and engaging with governments, large corporations, key partners and academic elites across Europe and on a global level. He is a well regarded speaker at WEF, OECD, EC, EP, Harvard, INSEAD, Cambridge and Economist events. Jan has been interviewed by CNN, CNBC, Bloomberg, Financial Times, New York Times and WSJ.
Jan is a Vice-Chairman of the European Academy of Business in Society (EABiS) and board member of the Junior Achievement Young Enterprise Europe (JAYE). He is also a Co-Chairman of the European Industry Leadership Board on e-Skills and a member of the Board of AIESEC, the world’s largest student-run organisation and an international platform for young people to discover and develop their potential.
He also represents Microsoft on the TABD, the Transatlantic Business Dialogue, and is involved as an advisor in the different projects of the European Policy Center (EPC). He continues to support several charities, including “PCs Against Barriers”, a joint initiative of Microsoft Czech Republic and Charta 77 Foundation, where he serves as a member of the supervisory board.
Over the past two decades, Jan has received numerous public awards as recognition of his achievements in the industry and social contributions, including the “Best Manager of Czech Republic for 1999” from the Czech Prime Minister, the “Czech Brain Award” and was named the Czech IT Personality of the Year three times.
